ABOUT LEJWELEPUTSWA

The name Lejweleputswa, meaning ‘grey rock’, describes the area in the Free State with a history rich in gold prospecting and mining. The Lejweleputswa district is rich in gold deposits and lies at the heart of the province’s goldfields.
